PATIO DOOR GLASS
|

We stock twelve patio door glasses that cover the most common sizes, types and tints of patio doors. We can come to you quickly and install a replacement glass in your broken patio door. We need to know the size if possible. The most important measurement is the width. If you can measure the distance between the two aluminum frames on each side of the glass that would be helpful. They will be approximately 27 inches, 33 inches, or 45 inches of visibility between the frames. They may also be double paned and you should be able to see if there is one or two glasses making up the unit. Some of the newer houses may also have a Low E tinting on their patio doors if they are exposed to the sun. They will have a very faint green or purple tint. They are all 76 inches tall except for mobile homes which are usually 75 inches. We are getting technincal now but it's also good to know if the glass is 1/8th inches thick or 3/16 inches thick. If you can't determine these measurements, don't let it stop you from calling us. We'll bring one or more glasses and do whatever it takes to get your door sealed up.
After a period of time, the rollers on the bottom of patio doors often rust up and start sticking. The door becomes very difficult to open or close.
Sometimes the wheels come off and the door frame starts dragging on the threshold and destroys the rail that the wheels roll on. We can fix those problems with new wheels or a new rail. Our customers always tell me how happy they are to get their door fixed because it has not worked properly for years.
